Privacy policy

MOS HIJAB respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit our website or place an order, why we collect it and the rights you have, in accordance with Moroccan law n° 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.

Data we collect

• Identity and contact details: full name, phone number and, optionally, email address.
• Delivery details: region, city, address and delivery notes.
• Order details: products ordered, amounts, order status and communications with our team.
• Technical data: your IP address, used for security and to limit abuse, and preferences such as language, bag and wishlist (stored on your device).

Why we use your data

• To process, confirm, deliver and support your orders, including contacting you before shipment.
• To answer your questions sent by contact form or WhatsApp.
• To send you offers on WhatsApp, only if you ticked the box at checkout. You can ask us to stop at any time.
• To protect our website and prevent fraud.

Sharing

Your name, phone number, delivery address and the amount to collect are shared with our delivery partner, Sendit, to bring your order to you and collect the payment. Our website and database are hosted by a service provider that processes data on our behalf. A short new-order alert sent to our team contains the order number, items, city and total, but not your name, phone number or address. Messages you send through the contact form reach our team by Telegram, including the details you enter in the form. We never sell your personal data.

Retention

We keep personal details while an order is open. For completed, cancelled or returned orders, the system anonymises personal fields once 365 days have elapsed since the order was created. The order number, products and amounts remain for accounting records. Backups containing this data are deleted on a rolling schedule. Data stored on your device (bag, wishlist, recently viewed products) can be erased at any time by clearing your browser data.

Your rights

Under law 09-08 you have the right to access, rectify and object to the processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us on WhatsApp. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNDP (Commission Nationale de contrôle de la protection des Données à caractère Personnel).

Cookies & local storage

We use only what is necessary for the shop to work: your language preference (cookie) and your bag, wishlist and recently viewed products (local storage on your device). We do not use advertising cookies.
